Lavandula

This is Lavandula, possibly lavandula angustifolia 'vera'.
This image has two adorable Chrysolina americana beetles on the flowers. These beetles are most active August-April and eat the plants foliage.
Lavandula is a evergreen sub-shub, meaning that it has a woody base and a herbaceous top growth. It produces long stalks holding the beautiful scented flowers in the summer and retains the scented foliage all year.
Lavandula holds a lot of sentimental meaning to many people. I remember my great grandmother stinking of lavender with her lavender sacks under the pillows. It is also amazing to eat, tastes just like it smells. I love it in Raspberry and lavender Victoria cake.

These images have a beautiful damselfly on the flowers and proves how amazing lavandula is for the environment with such diverse insects attracted to it.
This plant also attracts butterflies such as the Vanessa cardui butterfly.
