The flowers are placed on the upper leaf axils (the angle between the leaf and a stem) and the leaves are simple solitary leaves that feel like fuzzy velvet.
Petunia's are perfect for pots, hanging pots and ground cover, especially as boarder edging.

The Petunia is from the Solanacease family like the tobacco plant and the genus name Petunia is actually derived from the native American word for tobacco.
This species of Petunia gets it name 'Easy Wave Blue' due to the tints of deep blue on the flowers... I have to admit I cannot see any blue colouration on these flowers.
