This is Ribes sanguineum 'King Edward VII' from the Grossulariaceae family. Ribes sanguineum 'King Edward VII' is an upright deciduous shrub that has lobed aromatic leaves and racemes of pink flowers followed by black berries. To propagate this plant take semi-ripe cuttings. Place the cutting in a cold frame to root, they should be ready to transplant into their final position next autumn. A cold frame utilises solar energy and insulation to create a perfect microclimate for the Ribes seguineum to produce roots.
