This is a Nymphaea, taken by myself in Tenerife. Nymphaea aquatic perennials with beautiful floating flowers and leaves. They also have underwater rhizomes for food storage!
The little fish in this pond appreciated the Nymphaea's big floating leaves for shade from the hot sun of the Canary islands! 🐠
