This is a Hubiscus, taken by myself in Tenerife.  Hibiscus is from the Malvaceae family. It originates from subtropical/tropical environments.  The Hibiscus genus can be both annual and perennial herbaceous plants, as well as woody shrubs and small trees. The huge colourful flowers of the Hibiscus are almost hypnotising with their dense central colouration 🌺
